Alfa Romeo Giulia Breaks Down In The Middle Of Track Battle With BMW And Mercedes-Benz

Oh, Alfa. You’re like some beautiful and brilliant but wildly self-destructive friend who can’t seem to ever let themselves succeed. They ace a job interview, and then show up for the first day of work drunk and with taquito vomit down their shirt. The video from the UK-based site is a track test between the Alfa, a BMW M3 Competition Pack, and the Mercedes-Benz AMG C63. It seems to be going pretty well for the Alfa, which we’d all love to see become a rival to the Germans in the premium fast-sedan segment, when this happens:

Yep, for no clear reason, the Alfa has decided that it was done with all this track day bullshit, kicked on its check engine light, and dropped itself into limp mode.


Dammit, Alfa. We really don’t want all those old stereotypes to be true, but you’re sure as hell not making it easy.
