This camouflaged tester is believed to be an upcoming Alfa Romeo likely to be named the 149. Essentially, it's a replacement for the current Alfa 147 except bigger, longer and more uncut than the 147 it'll supposedly be replacing. Of course, with the addition of a new entry-level Alfa Mi.To, Alfa Romeo can afford to make it a bit bigger than the 147 it'll be replacing.
While the styling of the 147 is clearly Brera-inspired, the 149 is expected to draw more from the 8C Competizione, though we're guessing that the 8C's cues won't work quite as well on this 5-door hatch. Right now, we can't be too sure whether or not this car will be available in the 'merican market, so we'll have to wait and see. [AutoWeek.nl]
