Airlines Are Dropping The NRA
Much like many rental car companies, airlines are now ending any discounts associated with National Rifle Association membership. In a tweet today, United Airlines announced that their partnership with the NRA will be ending.
United is notifying the NRA that we will no longer offer a discounted rate to their annual meeting and we are asking that the NRA remove our information from their website.

In addition to United, Delta also announced that they would be dropping any associations with the NRA and rates to their meetings will no longer be discounted.
Delta is reaching out to the NRA to let them know we will be ending their contract for discounted rates through our group travel program. We will be requesting that the NRA remove our information from their website.

The moves come on the heels of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting last week in Florida, where 17 people died at the hands of a former student armed with a semi-automatic rifle. The shooting has since mobilized many young people, including the school's own students, in a new and very public push for increased gun control and a great deal of added pressure on the NRA.
As of now, we have not heard of any more major airlines that have severed ties with the NRA but we will update this post if we find anything more.
