According to Automotive News, the upcoming Pontiac G8 — the new rear-drive sports coupe based on the Holden VE Commodore — won't resemble its Australian cousin, at least from the front. But it will share a schnoz with its roadster sibling, the Solstice, as well as entirely new sheetmetal forward of the A-pillar. Color us a bit doubtful the rounded retro-roadster shaping will work on a sedan, though we'd imagine it'll be better for the far larger car's aerodynamic profile than a wholesale lifting of, say, the face of the 1967 Bonneville. We'll see it at the Chicago show. Any Photoshop jockeys care to take a crack at it?
