A Street-Legal Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Is Coming To Challenge The 911

The production version debuting at the Geneva Motor Show will have a massive rear wing as well as the widebody aimed right at the brand new Porsche GT3 RS. That, and a 600+ horsepower V12.

The Vantage is a decade old car now but that hardly matters as its current evolution, the V12 S remains a very rapid gran turismo with a mesmerizing soundtrack and probably the sexiest lines in the business. Now, there's a new one:

The Vantage's replacement currently under development will get a V8 from AMG for sure, but before that's due, Aston thought it's time to translate their Le Mans and Nürburgring 24 experience onto the road with a lightened, tightened, track-focused limited edition, a Vantage GT3 with a license plate.

Sources on Pistonheads claim they will only build a hundred units. Expect to get more details very soon...
