'90s Porsche Carrera Cups are horsepower, h-pattern boxes and balls

Race cars may be getting quicker, but gimme a few beers and I could argue racing enjoyment peaked somewhere in the late '80s and early '90s. An example? Check out these cars in Japan racing in the 1993 Porsche Carrera Cup. Good times.

The headline borrows from MrQuick who explains the appeal:

"This is what racing should be, no grip and no downforce. Just horsepower, h-pattern boxes and balls."

Wet track, bump-and-grind racing's harder to find outside of an Xbox these days.
