What car had the best decals?

Today's question was inspired by a post in the #oppositelock forum by 2xwishbonz. Factory-applied decals are often considered the bane of the auto industry's malaise decades. But not all of them are lame. What car had the best decals?

We agree with 2xwishbonz's assessment, touting the awesomeness of Alpina's decal work during the 1970s and 1980s. (See them represented on the B7 Turbo Coupé above.) They're understated but design-forward, with a pleasingly subtle interpretation of the cocaine-dream flashiness that usually marred late-70s decal work. Alpina's decals still hold up today, even though decals are as passé as party-line phone calls.
