After first showing us the serious problem America has with blind joggers, the ad mavens for the General are now using the ad campaign for the new 2008 Chevy Malibu to show us the proper way to rob a bank. Apparently it has something to do with using a late 90's Oldsmobile as your getaway car — and — we're not really sure how that works.
So they used an old GM product, get over it. I'm glad they're able to laugh at how shitty they USED to be and say that they're gonna turn themselves around, rather than pathetically pick on another car company and throw in a groan-inducing CamCord in there. As anybody who's had to undergo driver's ed in the past, oh, 10 years knows, those Malibus were truly awful. So the new one already looks better already.
It's still better than the oh-so-trendy Toyota dude being smarmy about how fuel-efficient his Highlander is.
