This car belongs to the former owner of the '65 Dodge D100 we saw a couple years back; he's since sold the truck and taken on this Monte as his latest project. It definitely needs some work, but has a great deal of coolness potential.

The CL package appears to have been a $385 cloth-seat option, on top of the $8,936 price tag for the base '84 Monte Carlo. Check out those "wire wheel" hubcaps: a $159 option.

I never cared for these, but G-bodies still roll in surprising numbers around Northwest Jersey, and not too badly rusted, either.

And now a borderline threadjack, though I consider this DOTS. Sometimes I play around in Google Maps Street View. The other day I parachuted into Mexico City and found a mind-bending DOTS display. Plug in this address: 700 Jose Antonio Torres Xocongo, Mexico City, Mexico. Go into Street View and head south (look for the Beetle taxi). Trust me on this.
