When I spotted this wagon in an East Bay wrecking yard last weekend, I thought for sure that I was looking at this DOTS Nomad. But no, it appears that another local '69 Nomad existed... and has now been junked.

With the good ol' reliable Chevy Six, this wagon would have been excruciatingly slow. However, it would have managed slightly better mileage and way less oil leakage than the 307 or 327 small-block V8.

I didn't know there were Nomads after the 2-door wagons. Live and learn.

This is a video of the 1954 Commemorative Sport Wagen (Nomad) Edition. The very first part of the video is of the 1953 Corvette Commemorative Edition. I would have room in my garage for my first Chevrolet.....this Nomad.
