Up until a few minutes ago, I had no idea about Lego Ideas. It's where builders submit model proposals, get votes, and if they garner enough support, Lego might sell it. And Lego most definitely needs to sell these Caterham Super Sevens. It's a kit car kit!
The idea was submitted by bricktrix_1908 and he's already developed these impressive models to illustrate the idea. They're far from ready to be built out of the box (there's a lot of custom work), but the idea seems sound, and he's open to suggestions, including the possibility of a removable hood with a detailed engine underneath.
The voting lasts a full year, but I figured we've got enough eyeballs and at least a few thousand Lego fans to make this happen quickly. Vote here and vote often.
