Why do we love the Scion FR-S? It's an affordable, RWD sports car with a flat-four engine that has a center of gravity somewhere near the Marianas Trench. How do you improve on that? Lower it, as Scion just did with their FR-S Release 1.0. It's also extremely yellow.
Technically, they call this paint "Yuzu" in honor of the small Japanese fruit restaurants use when they're too fancy for lemon. "This salad has a yuzu dressing sir. YUZU!" They've also added a slightly overwrought body kit that, though edging towards Mansory, I can't exactly hate. The aftermarket can do far worse. The TRD quad exhausts are a nice touch.

The real reason you care about this is they somehow managed to chop the car's already skidplate-scraping ride height with a TRD lowered suspension.
If you haven't bought that FR-S you've wanted, this one is available at a touch under $30,000. However, as Kicking Tires points out, a base one starts around $25K. Imagine how much more you could do by spending your own $5,000.
