What's The Greatest Comeback Car?

Everyone seems really excited for the Alfa Romeo Giulia. And why wouldn’t we be? Alfa is a storied brand, one of the most famous in the world, and now it’s finally done with front-drive hatchbacks and is giving us the stylish, powerful Italian sport sedan we crave.

If they pull this off it will be a major comeback for Alfa Romeo. But they wouldn’t be the first brand or automaker to come back from the brink. That’s our question of the day: What’s the greatest comeback car?

I nominate one of my personal favorites, the last-generation Cadillac CTS-V. Yes, the first-gen V was good, but the second one was a proper tire murderer and BMW fighter. It was one of the best performance cars of its time and still amazing today. Cadillac had been in recovery mode for years before it came out, but that V really showed the world what they could do.
