Somehow, Nobody Died In This Other Wild Pikes Peak Crash

In the scheme of things, six seconds isn't really a lot of time. In fact, it took me more than six seconds to write that sentence.

But other times, six seconds is everything. This video from Pikes Peak shows just how much can change in that amount of time.

In this crash, the throttle stuck wide open on the 1,400 horsepower car. Driver Paul Dallenbach, who has won Pikes Peak overall three times, was not killed or even seriously injured in the crash. It's also amazing that he didn't take out a line of spectators.

This could've been a disaster.
