While you were getting a sandwich around the corner, Ford was announcing a recall on 451,865 cars.
The recall is for Ford Fusions and the Ford Fusion-in-a-dress Mercury Milan from 2010-11.
“The canister purge valve in some vehicles may work improperly, which can cause pressure in the fuel tank to change,” Automotive News reports. That pressure change can cause a crack, that crack can start a leak, and that leak can start a fire.

No such fires have been reported, but Ford is issuing a recall anyway.
