I'm not gonna lie to you, Jalops. I'm all for simplicity and lightness on my cars, but I think adaptive cruise control is cool as hell. Using radar or lasers, vehicles equipped with this option adjust their cruise control speeds automatically depending on what's in front of them.

You can set how many car lengths you want between you and the car you're following, and if someone cuts in front of you, your car slows down automatically. Cruise control is incredibly useful on long trips and this is so much better than the normal kind. Once you try it, you won't want to go back.
