In Case You Didn’t Know, The Dakar Rally Is Insane

You probably already know that the Dakar Rally, the apocalyptic desert race down South America, is one of the greatest pieces of sports competition in the world. If you didn't know, this gif should explain things pretty nicely.

This is Chilean Patricio Cabrera on his Kawasaki KLX 450 during the very first day of the Dakar. He will be doing shit like this (see the video here) for another two weeks straight, along with all the other bikes, cars, and trucks in the race.
