Even The F1 World Champion Stops To Watch Soccer

In theory, everyone in Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix should be focusing on the big race in just a few hours. In reality, the many German (and occasional Portuguese) team members in town for the race are actually watching the European Championship. This includes F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

Our own Raphael Orlove is in Montreal partying with Red Bull (more on that later) and he noticed that, amongst the many chain-smoking Germans, Vettel also made sure to find a television to catch Schweinsteiger bust some heads.

This reminds us of the time in '86 when a young Ayrton Senna skipped out on a press conference at the Detroit Grand Prix to watch Brazil in the World Cup.
