We'd better make 2012 a good one, just in case the Mayans are right. In that vein, I'm going to the Isle of Man TT. I know that most resolutions tend toward self-improvement, but what could be more self-improving that going to the rawest, most life-affirming (and life-risking) motorsports event in the world? Anyone can do a few extra minutes on the treadmill, but getting to the Isle of Lucy (or wherever) for the famed Tourist Trophy race during a busy, vacation-deprived workyear will take some fortitude.
