If you believe the claymation specials, Santa's workshop turns out lovely toys made of nature's steel, aka "wood." Some crazy sorts also use wood as a primary material in the building of cars as well. What's the coolest wooden car?
I'm going with the Speedball Special. Here's what happens when a boat builder from the 1950s gets his hands on four sports-car wheels and a motorcycle engine. The result is a very Lotus Seven-looking speedster with a literbike's engine, sequential transmission and only 750 pounds to pull. Don't crash, though. The splinters will hurt like mad.
