What better way to prove your truck was truly Ram tough than show it driving in a weird animated world? As evidenced by this strange vintage commercial, that is exactly what Dodge decided to do to advertise their two year old Ram truck back in 1983.
Without the pesky confines of reality the Dodge was able to do things like fly through the air and transform into an animated Ram. They were beyond tough and could even go through a puddle without rusting—thanks to "more galvanized steel in critical areas".
As a former owner of a "Ram tough" 1984 Dodge 4x4 I can personally attest to the fact these trucks were able to fly through the air with surprising ease given the right opportunity. Driving through a puddle without rusting was however an entirely different story.
