This is why you always look twice before crossing an intersection. Just as a light turned green in Rotterdam, a gigantic mobile construction crane cam barreling through the intersection at high speed, collecting a little econobox in its path. Jeepers.

Word is the couple in the car survived and was treated for injuries at a local hospital. No word on whether or not the crane driver was prosecuted, but in the relative law and order of The Netherlands we wouldn't be surprised if he was.
