The second generation Corvette "Sting Ray" remains the most iconic and influential era of GM's sports car and this great photo from Zachary Hansen clearly demonstrates why. Painted in the correct Goodwood Green, this side-piped 'Vette looks like a Hot Wheels dream and not a real production car.
Ron Skwarek owns this car and says the 4-speed big block 427ci V8 is "loud, fast, and runs very hot." They've fitted an auxiliary cooling fan so the Sting Ray can be operated year-round. Our favorite touch might be the cast aluminum bolt-on wheels with the redline tires. So choice.
