The XKR-S is the most powerful production car ever built by Jaguar, squeezing out 550 hp from its 5.0-liter V8. The Jaguar XKR-S convertible will thus become the most powerful production Jaaaaaag convertible when it debuts at next week's L.A. Auto Show.
In coupe trim, the fanged Jag's a stand-out performer for the brand with a 0-to-60 mph time in the low 4.0-second range and a top speed of 186 mph. With the same powerplant and only a few extra pounds we'll make the extreme leap of guessing the roadster's performance will be similar.
