Back in the 1980s, there was no symbol of Wall Street excess quite like the Lamborghini Countach. And yet, the 1980s were nothing compared to the excess that would come later. But a fake Lambo at a protest over fake profits? Now that's symbolism.
This replicambo rolled up last night to the Occupy Wall Street protest, looking very 7/8th scale, with its Fiero chassis and Countach-like skin. We're guessing it's one of Euroworks Exotics' Mirage K kits, which cost around four grand. Another six grand for a decent Fiero, add some sweat equity, and you've got the perfect DIY protest vehicle.
And there you are, rolling by in your kit car, giving the middle finger to those credit-default-swapping Ponzi scum who covered their negative gazillion-dollar exposure with your income taxes, pink-slipped you, and then, just to twist the knife, kicked your credit-card interest rate up to 35%.
Either that, or you're just trying to get back to Queens with your baklava.
