You may not be able top a certain dude's fatherly loaner car, but there are people generous enough with their wheels to let you borrow their car for a weekend. What's the coolest car you've ever borrowed?
My whole life is basically borrowing awesome cars and driving them, but at the top of that list is probably the Ford Focus RS. It's a car I've always wanted to get seat time in, it's something extremely rare here in the United States, and the guy who loaned it to me (Hey Pete!) was incredibly cool about it. Just a great experience all around.
