First practice is already over for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the ultimate race of the brilliant, intoxicating, heartbreaking roller coaster ride also known as the 2010 Formula One season.

It’s the second Grand Prix at the dazzling pre-crash Gulf Arab extravaganza of Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, and unlike last year’s encore act following Jenson Button’s championship-deciding fifth-place finish at the 2009 Brazilian Grand Prix, this one’s a proper title race.

The Grand Prix will kick off at 8 AM EST and no more than two hours later Formula One will have a new champion. Don’t worry: we won’t spoil anything. Catch the race on Sunday, or get an MP4 on Monday, then come back next week for some highlights of what was one of the best F1 seasons in a long while.
