European touring car racing series DTM must be chuffed about it's pairing with NASCAR races in 2013. Proof? This NASCAR-worthy crash by Audi driver Alexandre Premat this weekend, which he escaped unharmed.
Right now the series is confined to German-make sedans, but with expansions to Japan and the United States, we'd expect a hard sell for additional competitors to Mercedes and Audi to form a global touring car showdown.
