Drag Racing... With Corners

Running your beater Volkswagen Rabbit down a 1,320 foot drag strip doesn't produce much adrenaline, so the SCCA found a way to make drag racing cool again. They put corners on the track!

The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) has a sport they call Pro Solo and it is two mirrored autocross courses set next to each other with a drag racing Christmas tree start. You get to race head to head against similar cars with similar modifications through twisting and turning tracks delineated by traffic cones. First one back the finish line is the winner.
