Had this truck driver read Jalopnik and seen what happens to trucks going under low bridges, he'd probably've paid more attention to the "LOW CLEARANCE" sign on this bridge. He wasn't the only one.
The truck managed to get wedged pretty deep under the 13 foot southbound side of the Grant street train bridge in Springfield, MO, and was only freed when the air was let out of the tires. No doubt the Springfield Grocer Company will be getting a shipment of very mixed vegetables and newly mixed nuts. This isn't even the first time trucks have gotten stuck here. It's a fairly regular occurrence as you can see below. The locals drag the truck out, inspect the bridge, and go on with the day.
