A couple years ago, Dodge unearthed the Challenger and Charger Hellcat. They made 707 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Those cars are... fine, I guess, but if you ask me the logic of “slap a blower on it” is far more insane on their big cousin, the Dodge Viper.

Like this supercharged 1996 Dodge Viper from Craigslist. The Viper is famous for having a monstrous V10 under the hood with a displacement larger than some entire cars. It’s a car that’s stupid and loved by everyone with an automotive death wish. A naturally aspirated Viper will try to kill you on a dry track on a nice day.

This is taking it to a different level by adding hundreds of horsepower through forced induction. According to the seller, this Viper makes 820-horsepower on a dyno with different tunes going well over 900-horsepower.

I have no idea if this is true but the Viper is essentially a V10 powered go-kart and 800+ horsepower would make it thoroughly unsuitable for any and all weather. The Viper wasn’t even designed to be a drag car but this one can pretty much do only that. (Also the seller says there’s a lien on the car? So, that’s odd.)
