Our nerdy brothers over at Gizmodo have uncovered yet another reason to make fun of the British. The country that gave us Lucas electronics, deep-fried Snickers, and the Spice Girls now has drivers that are blindly obeying the directions of their Sat-Nav systems and driving straight into a flooded road. It's a lot like...
...the line from Better Off Dead: "Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn." Only without the turning part. When you change the language setting on a Jaguar from "English (US)" to "English (UK)" you get a very sexy British lady giving you orders, which makes us feel all tingly. But we're not about to ignore roadside warnings and press on straight into the drink just because some lass with a hot accent and bad teeth tell us. And in England that accent isn't even sexy, so there really are no excuses.
