"Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" was the soundtrack to a summer of priming rain gutters and learning to drive. Four years later, I was commuting up San Pablo Dam Road through El Sobrante when I noticed that it looked an awful lot like the street from the opening sequence. The live sections were shot at the Phoenix in Petaluma, which is the last place I ever saw Jawbreaker play. A year later, whenever my friend Jeff and I would drive through El Sob, we'd have to light cigarettes. Plus, it's a got a sweet Nova and rather rad circle-track footage. Thanks to Craig for reminding me of that.
