Why A Classic McLaren Can-Am Car Is The Best Way To Bond With Your Dad

Chris Goodwin already has it pretty great as McLaren's chief test driver. But what's more, is that Goodwin races a classic M1B that he bought with his dad at Goodwood. How's that for bonding?

Goodwin owns and runs this M1B with his father, who raced sports cars in the 1960s and 1970s. Goodwin says that this car is a handful, he's never even seen his pitboard at Goodwood, just because he's working so hard to keep the car going straight.

Is there anything better than vintage racing? I'm not sure there is.

Ford Heaock III, the founder of the SVRA is a client of mine. I do some online marketing for them hence today's post. Out of all of my clients I like working for him best. He just REALLY loves cars, it's what he built his classic car insurance company around. They also insure race cars actually.

The man's cars tho.... Ford GT.... Model A Speedster... so many greats. Every time I meet with him I ask him how much money I have to make him to let me take his GT out. He just smiles politely and moves onto the next subject.
