Wojdyla managed to purchase one of the rare, VW-designed diesel generator-powered Volvo 745 wagons for $1,500 some years ago. After four years of faithful, if not particularly fast, service, it was time for the Volvo to go. The value was probably less than $500 considering it needed new glow plugs. In no mood to find a seller, he sold it to someone in his fraternity for a box of delicious frozen taquitos. The price listed on the title for the sale was $34.95, for a loss of $465.00.
