Car commercials count among the most epic of TV spots, no matter the product. Car and car-related companies have spent giant money to cast their products in short-form action thrillers. What's the best commercial of all time?
There's just one such commercial that falls readily to mind. I had to watch it again, and it didn't disappoint. That's the Shell/Ferrari 60-year celebration spot from 2007. The gestalt combination of cars, location scenery, cinematography and sound design makes this the single greatest example of automotive brand promotion in history. Not that others haven't tried, or come close.
Note: answers should be TV commercials that actually aired.
