Five cylinders and seven wheels. Doesn't sound like a pair of cars that get pushed hard on a track, does it?

The Morgan Three Wheeler has a V-twin engine without a cover and narrow tires that would puts the Volkswagen XL1's front wheels to shame.

The Caterham 160 has three cylinders and a turbo, but those 14 steelies provide only slightly better traction than the Morgan's motorcycle tires. At least a new set is cheap.


What both are lacking is a roof saving the driver from the elements, which in Britain's case means lots of cold water in your face. I bet Henry Catchpole had an Irish tea after this one...
