We got a great response from people who enjoyed the ten most confusing street signs, which got us thinking about the street signs that are sorely needed. If we can have a sign that tells us that road work has ended when, clearly, there is no more work being done, then it probably isn't too much to ask for a sign that reminds people to get the hell out of the passing lane. Or what about a "focus on the road, jackass" sign? What road sign do we badly need? We've Photoshopped in two of the signs we'd like to see on the road and we invite you to answer the question either in Photoshop form or just in the form of a comment. (QOTD is your chance to answer the day's most pressing automotive questions and experience the opinions of the insightful insiders, practicing pundits and gleeful gearheads that make up the Jalopnik commentariat. not sure if road signs are the answer. i've always maintained that car-to-car missiles would do the trick.
equip cars with jamming systems that self-deactivate for every dumbass mistake they make - too slow in fast lane, passing on the right, wandering in lane, driving a ricer, etc etc - and then alert other drivers that they are vulnerable.
evolution could be jump started back in the right direction once more...
