Watch this parade of 500 Chinese supercars

Earlier this month, Shanghai opened its Formula 1 circuit for its SIC Club Challenge, something that translates through Google as "super running carnival." With more than 500 supercars looping the track, the name sounds entirely apt.

The three-day festival included the stately procession caught below, which is likely the first time a Pagani Zonda has lined up with a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and a Aston Martin One-77 in the same row. It's a little hard to get excited over Porsches when there's a Gumpert, Koenigsegg and KTM in front of them. And kudos to whomever decided to throw a tricked-out Hummer H2 into the mix, just for that dash of Rodney Dangerfield.

There must have been some harder rides through the carnival, since a Nissan GT-R, a Porsche and a pink Ferrari California all ended up with some damage. See how many models you can name in the video clip below.

Thanks Scott!

Communism works great to spread the wealth to the masses, doesn't it?

Dear Chairman Mao (and Hu, and Deng, and the rest of the leadership of the PRC)

Fuck you.

Still dirt poor in China

P.S. Yes, I know there are ridiculously wealthy people and horrifically poor people all over the world, but China's current government was built on the promise of common ownership and wealth.
