Watch An SRT Viper Come Together From Scratch

The SRT Viper is finally back in production at the Conner Avenue Assembly in Detroit.

This pleases us.

The New York Times was able to get a couple cameras inside to time lapse a Viper being built from start to finish.

The time lapse speeds up the build to make it almost cartoonish. Quite a bit of the car is handbuilt. But I was surprised that Ralph Gilles isn't on the floor building each one by himself.

(Hat Tip to David!)

it's a rule of the company to be fat to work here?
