Walkinshaw Performance now offers a supercharger kit for the Holden Commodore HSV. The package costs $44,975, but it gives the HSV 644 hp and 592 lb-ft of torque. Because, you know, Pontiac geeks needed another reason to be angry.
The package, dubbed E2 Supercar kit, also includes a two-stage, three-inch exhaust system, lowered suspension, 20-inch alloys, a host of cosmetic gewgaws, and a factory-matching warranty for vehicles still covered by Holden's new-car guarantee.
In case you were wondering, the "Walkinshaw" in Walkinshaw Performance is indeed Tom Walkinshaw, he of touring-car and Formula 1 fame. Walkinshaw wasn't available for comment, but if we had to guess, we'd say that he thinks Pontiac's demise is a big ball of stink, too.

Meh! Not another blown HSV. I'm seeing these things everywhere. I'm so bored of it already. I think I'll just continue taking these V8 RWD Fords and Holdens for granted.
Why can't we Aussies have more FWD, torque steering, styled for the blind wonders like those lucky Americans?
