The 2012 Chevrolet Spark is reportedly back on track for the US market. The Korean-built subcompact, sold in a previous incarnation as the Daewoo Matiz, will arrive next year as a 2013 model, riding on GM's Yo Gabba Gabba platform. Ok, no.

It'll be even smaller than the incoming Chevy Sonic, which is replacing the unloved Aveo, and possibly feature a 1.0-liter engine. Looks like GM is taking Steve Martin's advice.

Not true. The Spark replaces the Matiz. And that's shorter, narrower, lower and lighter than the Spark. So I guess you could call it smaller too :)
