Two Sprint Car Racers Rush To Pull Another Driver From A Wreck

In 2014, sprint car racing has picked up more than a bit of a rough reputation, but it's a sport with a lot of heart. Just watch these two drivers tear out of their own cars to pull another driver to safety.

You're watching Rico Abreu run to pull Tim Kaeding out of his overturned car, Jonathan Allard hurrying up behind.

This is at the 2014 Trophy Cup in Tulare, CA, deep in the not-quite-anywhere flats of the San Joaquin Valley, between Fresno and Bakersfield.

Here's another angle of the wreck.

The cheers from the crowd are heartening, just as it is seeing Kaeding walk away from the crash.
