Interestingly, it operates much like GM's new hybrid concept, with a 3650-horsepower diesel cranking out the amps to spin a couple of Siemens electric motors. With a maximum capacity of 365,000 kilos of ore (how many kilos of coke is that?) it beats out its next-largest competitor by 20 metric tons. And would you believe it tops out at 40mph? That's enough momentum right there to raze Truth or Consequences, New Mexico in one pass.
