Even if you really, really love cars, there's not much to love about being stuck in a car for more than an hour as you inch along in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Some places are worse about this than others, and now, thanks to WNYC, you can see who in America has the worst commute.
New York's public radio station put together this interactive map of average commute-to-work times across the country based on five-year estimates given to the U.S. Census American Community Survey.
The average time to get to work in the United States is 25.4 minutes, which isn't that bad at all. But when you look at places like the suburbs around Washington D.C., or Denver, or pretty much all of Southern California, and you realize not all drivers have it that easy.
What's the commute like where you live?
