The Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003 promises to be an entirely new type of car. It's a lightweight, modular race and road car that could redefine how we look at modern race cars. We've heard it start, but we haven't seen it moving. Until now.

It's always refreshing when someone has a vision for a sports car, and, instead of making a lot of lovely promises that ultimately lead nowhere, they follow through. That's precisely what Glickenhaus and his team have done with the SCG 003.

This first run on track is at the Variano Proving Ground with Nicola Larini behind the wheels. Glickenhaus tells us that he told Nicola to do two laps in it. After five they had to stand in the middle of the track to bring him in, the car made him very emotional. Nicola compared it to driving an F1 car.

We can't wait to see more of this car in motion.
