Can a Trabant be faster than a BMW E30 M3? Theoretically, no. Technically, yes.

Racing Trabants might not have the high top speeds or the torque of their much more expensive opponents on a track, but with a proper suspension, good brakes and rubber, these lightweight plastic deathtraps can be surprisingly fast on the limit.


Oh, and the shifter is almost as close as those flappy paddles in modern cars, so that's also very practical.
