This 720-Degree Spin At 120 MPH Is An Early Contender For Save Of The Year

Audi R8 driver Will Davison lost it at about 124 mph coming up the mountain at the infamous Mount Panorama circuit this weekend. I’ve watched this over and over and I don’t understand how he didn’t hit anything.

By watching the onboard recorded by the W Racing Team you can see Davison either hit two and a half gs in the spin or max out the car’s telemetry.

Luckily for Davison, this spin was only in practice, and he finished the actual Bathurst 12 Hour in 14th position, while another W Racing Team Audi took the overall win.
