Inside Line's Bill Baker makes the Chicago-to-LA run, following the route of America's most storied highway in a Z06. To say that we're exceedingly jealous is an understatement after all, the last time we traversed nearly two thousand miles of American soil it was in a stuffed-to-the-gills Durango pulling an equally-overloaded trailer. And we did it in two days no time to see what little sights there are on I-10 and I-5 between San Antonio and Sacramento. Baker, on the other hand, stopped along the way to check out a bygone America; one either restored, operating continuously, or slowly falling into disrepair.
