PistonHeads has more info on the Tango 600, a quarter-width electric car UK-based motorsports firm Prodrive will build for CCC, an American company. The rear-drive Tango employs two electric motors to produce over 1,000 ft/lb of torque, which will rocket the tiny car from 0 to 60 mph in four seconds. Several Hollywood celebs have plunked down $10,000 deposits on the first production models, said to cost $85,000, but the target price for a mass-produced version will likely be around $20,000. Personally, if we're going drive a car that small and weird, we'd rather it be slingshot-fast. It helps reduce trash talking at stoplights.
